  • After a lesson about caring for the Maltese countryside, May showed real interest and took the learning further on her own. She listened carefully during the discussion and asked thoughtful questions about how people can protect nature. She was especially concerned about littering, harming plants, and the effect that waste can have on animals and the environment. Later, May decided she wanted to share what she learned with her friends. On her own initiative, she created a simple chart showing ways children can take care of the Maltese countryside. She included clear ideas such as not leaving rubbish behind, staying on paths, respecting plants and animals, and reminding others to keep outdoor spaces clean. May then presented her chart to her friends and explained each point in her own words. This showed May’s curiosity, responsibility and initiative. She organised information in a meaningful way and used it to teach others, which helped spread positive values through the class. It also showed that May is beginning to understand that children can make a difference through small actions and good choices.
